I went out into town this afternoon, and bought Grandia II for the PS2 in the sale, it was quite cheap to be honest.
I've heard of it before, but could anyone here tell me what they think of it, or how good it is?

Lol I just posted about this game at my board yesterday . Ill copy my post here Im damn
lazy hehe . Its a pretty half-decent RPG. If you hated the first Grandia, let me tell you that the graphics HAVE improved as well as the gameplay. The only thing that still sucks are the crappy dungeon camera angles, it can be hard to where you are going .

Yeah, the camera angle thing got me a bit pissed off too, and the graphics don't compare well with FFX. Game graphics don't really bother me in the slightest, well, I do like nice, smooth graphics... good pixel animation in 2D games and so forth. The game seems as though it might be quite nice, so I won't complain about it... which reminds me, I better go play it sometime today, I never got that far yet!

Im not sure why they decided to keep that awful camera angle, it makes no sense since it was one of the worst features of the first.

Yeah, you have to keep messing with the shoulder buttons for good angles, plus, the doors that open and close when you walk within two feet of them are just damn
annoying. ><;

It also pisses me off that if you leave, when you come back you have to do everything all over again . This sucks, especially if you are going into the dungeon to gain exp or money.
